Port of Menteith Village Hall is seeking support from local people to get involved in maintaining and promoting the use of our village hall. We have recently held our first Buff and Blether where over 20 residents strimmed, trimmed, weeded, and cleaned up our hall. We are looking for more ideas and support. Please contact us to be added to our database of volunteers. We also have a whatsapp group!

The hall's Annual General Meeting is on Monday 9th July at 19:30. Everyone is welcome to attend. This is a perfect opportunity to get involved, and find out how you can support the hall in the year ahead, to ensure it remains the hub of the local community.

This year's Doune the Rabbit Hole festival takes place at the Cardross Estate, on the 13-15 July. For more information on the festival, click here.

The last blether of the season will take place this Sunday, 15th April, from 11:00am-12:30pm. Thanks to everyone who has continued to support them throughout this most-challenging of winters. Have a great summer, and we'll catch up in September.

This year's Port of Menteith litter pick, and the March blether is this Sunday, 11th March. The litter pick begins at 10am in the village hall. All equipment provided; we'd appreciate your help in tidying up the area, ready for a great summer ahead! The blether will then take place from 11am until 12:30pm.

This season's Sunday Blethers start again on 15th October at 11am. Come along for soups, sandwiches, cake, coffee and tea, and a catch up with your neighbours.

The hall's annual general meeting (AGM) will take place on Monday 11th September at 7:30pm. Do you want to have a say on how the hall is run, ideas on how we can grow the hall's place within the community, or would like to become a hall volunteer (at present, the hall is run by 6 locals who volunteer their time to ensure the hall is kept open; we would LOVE more people to get involved)? If so, come along and join in.

Attending Doune the Rabbit Hole festival this weekend, and need somewhere to stay? Get in touch to check overnight availability at the hall. It's just £50 overnight for up to 20 people. We're only 2.5 miles from the festival site.
